Jan Lunch & Learn: American Rescue Plan/The Impact in La Crosse County

Lunch reservations are now closed.
All are welcome to attend the program,
beginning around noon,
either in person at The Waterfront Banquet Room
or via Zoom.
Reservations made up to the day of the event
will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link .
Registration (upper right) will reserve lunch and provide a Zoom link for virtual attendance. The public is welcome to join us for lunch or at no cost to attend the 12:00 p.m. program only. A recording of the program will be posted on our website the day after the live event.
Lunches must be reserved and paid for by the end of the day Thursday, 1/4. Pre-paid lunches are nonrefundable. If you have any difficulty with registration, please contact us at lwvlawi@gmail.com.
Program Information:
La Crosse County received over 22 million dollars from the American Rescue Act and Infrastructure Act. In conversation with Monica Kruse, La Crosse County Board chair, we will explore who allocated that money, and how the county has spent it.
Speaker:
Monica Kruse has been on the County Board for 14 years, the last four years as chair. She enjoys serving on a number of community boards. A retired educator, she taught Special Education, German and Spanish during a career that spanned 1st grade to college level. She and her husband Paul have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
