the April referendum in La Crosse County that asks:
Should the State of Wisconsin establish a right to clean water
to protect human health, the environment, and the diverse cultural
and natural heritage of Wisconsin?
Johnson Bridgewater
Johnson works for the River Alliance of Wisconsin and has more than 20 years of advocacy and non-profit experience, working on local, statewide, and international environmental issues. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing from the University of Oklahoma. Johnson grew up in central Minnesota, relocated to Oklahoma, and is now settled “Up North” in Hurley, Wisconsin. He has one daughter, Zoe, and spends hie free time hiking, paddling, fishing, and exploring the natural world, always with his camera close by.
Jamie O'Neill
Jamie believes strongly in the health and wellness of our community. She came to La Crosse in 2008 to pursue a masters in Community Health Education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Jamie works at Viterbo University as a STEM Event Planner and Outreach Coordinator. She is currently putting together a symposium on drinking water which will be at the end of March. Jamie lives with her two children and husband in Shelby where they like to run, ski, bike and spend time outdoors. She represents District 29 on the La Crosse County Board.
