GATHERED IN ONE CONVENIENT PLACE
2026 Partisan Primary
August 11, 2026
Voting in primary elections is important.
Our votes choose the candidates on the November ballot.
Your vote makes them more representive of Wisconsin voters.
FYI:
WISCONSIN HAS OPEN PRIMARIES
This means that voters don't register with a party in order to vote in the primary election. Voters choose which party's primary they want to vote in when completing their ballot.
WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT
?
When voting in the primary you will need to choose a party and can only vote for candidates in that one party. If you vote for candidates in multiple parties, your votes will not count.
WHAT IF I MAKE A MISTAKE?
Carefully read the instructions on your ballot. Double-check your ballot to make sure you completed it correctly. Call your clerk to get a replacement ballot if you make a mistake.

LWVLA Policy for Partisan Primary Forums:
Candidate forums for Wisconsin's Partisan Primaries are often hosted by partisan groups, including the political parties of registered candidates.
The
La Crosse League believes access to these forums,
despite
their possible partisan content,
empowers voters to make a more informed choice for candidates who will best represent them on the November ballot.
In keeping with League policy, p
lacement of forums or debates on the Candidate & Issue Information page is not an endorsement of any candidate or party.
The LWVLA strives to provide access to information about
all candidates and issues on the primary election ballot.
We encourage the public
to send
information about any WI primary debates, interviews, or forums
to
communications@lwvlacrosse.org
.
All partisan-sponsored forums will be removed after the Primary Election.
