Our Program:
LWV members
work to promote an open governmental system that is representative, accountable, responsive and capable of making decisions. We’ve invited LWV Wisconsin Executive Director, Debra Cronmiller, to provide an update on the many issues that work encompasses. Ms. Cronmiller leads the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition, so current court and legislative efforts on nonpartisan redistricting will be discussed. In addition, we’ll learn more about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact supported by the state and national LWV, and the growing regional interest in Final Five Voting. These initiatives welcome informed champions who are committed to making a difference in Wisconsin’s electoral system!

Our Speaker:
Debra Cronmiller is Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin. She joined the State League staff in January, 2020 and previously served as the President of the State’s Board of Directors. Her employment background is in non-profit management and human services work. She previously managed a homeless shelter and worked for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Families as an administrator for the TANF program and Director for the Department of Workforce Development’s Job Service. She has over 30 years of volunteer experience with the League in various leadership positions. Debra is a member of the Madison Downtown Rotary. She serves on the Board of Directors of Community Shares of Wisconsin.
