The League of Women Voters invites you to The Waterfront Restaurant, 128 Front St. So., La Crosse - North Entrance, for our next Lunch and Learn program on November 8th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Topic: Exploring Transgender Issues
Transgender Awareness Week is Nov 13-19. This year has been record-breaking for the introduction of legislation that affects trans and nonbinary people. In an effort to open dialog on this subject we have gathered a local panel to discuss issues affecting the human rights of transgender people.

* Will Van Roosenbeek, UWL's LGBTQIA+ Services Director
* Adam Whitney, UWL student
Lunch is available for $20, or you can attend for free without ordering lunch. Register at lwvlacrosse.org/program to reserve your lunch or a Zoom link if you cannot attend in person. Lunches must be reserved and paid for by the end of day Thursday, 11/2, so that we can provide an exact meal count. Pre-paid lunches are nonrefundable. A recording of the program will be posted on our website the day after the live event.
